MatchFolk's role

MatchFolk provides service intake, selected cleaning and home services, and referral or matching support. Depending on the request, MatchFolk may provide a service directly or coordinate with an independent local service professional. The party responsible for performing the work should be confirmed before booking.

Current service boundaries

Unless MatchFolk expressly states otherwise in writing, MatchFolk does not provide professional engineering inspections, building-code certification or guarantees for work performed by independent service professionals. Pricing, payment terms and the responsible service provider should be confirmed for each booking or referral.

No guarantee of a match or quote

Submitting a request does not guarantee availability, acceptance by a partner, a quote or a booking.

Homeowner choice

Customers decide whether to proceed with a MatchFolk service or an independent professional. Submitting a request does not create an obligation to book or hire.

Professional responsibility

Independent service professionals are responsible for their own availability, business representations, licences or registrations that apply to their work, insurance, site assessment, scope, pricing, estimates, contracts, permits, safety and performance. When MatchFolk directly provides a selected service, the applicable scope and arrangements will be confirmed separately.

Information provided

Users should provide accurate information and should not submit content they do not have the right to share. Project photos and descriptions should be relevant to the project.

Referral relationships

MatchFolk may have commercial referral arrangements with participating professionals, including fees connected to leads, opportunities or completed work. Those arrangements do not require a homeowner to hire a particular professional.
